Hollow-Waveguide Tri-Band Shared-Aperture Full-Corporate-Feed Continuous Transverse Stub Antenna

This article presents a tri-band shared-aperture full-corporate-feed continuous transverse stub (CTS) antenna based on hollow-waveguide. The multiband operation is enabled by broadband CTS radiator and novel six-port parallel-plate waveguide (PPW) multiplexer. radiation slot fed vertical PPW power divider. multiplexer composed of three diplexers, which defines the frequency bands—Ku, K, Ka. quasi-TEM mode in structure generated single-layer linear source generators (LSGs). Four such LSGs operating at different bands are used to feed into amplitude phase precompensation method applied LSG overcome imbalance spurious reflection caused metal walls terminal ends PPW. has resulted improved performance all bands. A prototype designed, fabricated, measured. Good agreement between simulation measurement been shown. peak gains over range 11.25–15 GHz, 17.7–22 27.5–32 GHz better than 24.7, 28.2, 32.1 dBi, respectively. Over 80% efficiency achieved
